Milan 2012: Robert Hoffmann
German product designer Robert Hoffmann showed at this year’s Salone Satellite – the area for up-and-coming desigers of the Salone del Mobile.
On show was his CONE floor and table lamp as well as his EDGE Chair.
The Designer explains: “EDGE is a metal chair for everyday use, indoor and outdoor. The seat is folded from one aluminum sheet and is carried by bent steel pipe runners. The overlapping sell in the back is characteristical for EDGE.
CONE is a floor lamp for indoor use. The lamp shade is rolled from a metal sheet and is similar to the shape of a waffle cone. The lampshade can be adjusted by turning and is versatile.”
