Discrepancies With M.G. at Gallery Nilufar Milan
Moving focus onto the floor, we bumped into this amazing floor installation at Gallery Nilufar in Milan.
Made by portuguese artist Leonor Antunes the project Discrepancies With M.G. was originally commisioned for Galerie Isabella Bortolozzi.
The piece is made from flat pieces of cork, black and red rubber and brass. The different textures and surfaces create an unusual and almost sensual surface.
Inspired by silkscreen prints by Goeritz in 1968, the design references to multiple Bauhaus exercises and consist of triangles in varying sizes and their relationship between each other.
