Tea Box by Studio Gorm
Tea box by Studio Gorm is a collaboration between John Arndt and Wonhee Jeong Arndt.
The designers explains about the project, “Based on an old sewing box from the 1800’s the box has been subtly reengineered to carry equipment for the japanese tea ceremony. Opening the box becomes part of the ritual, each step reveals a new layer. when opened it folds into a small table for preparing tea, a perfect portable tea room for those with limited space or the desire to enjoy a bowl of tea in the great outdoors.”
The box includes teak, madrone, brass and ceramics.
