Puck Table by Simen Aarseth

British furniture manufactor Benchmark, will be launching the Puck Table, designed by Simen Aarseth in Milan 2011.  Simen is a new designer for Benchmark and a young talent to watch out for.

Benchmark’s Managing Director, Sean Sutcliffe,  spotted these fabulous tables at 100% Design last year where Simen was exhibiting as part of 100% Norway.  ”They were a highlight of the exhibition for me and I’m thrilled that Benchmark are now working with Simen,” says Sean.

The tables are simple yet sophisticated and work equally well in a group or as individual tables.  They are made in two sizes, from oak and walnut and with timber or painted tops so there are lots of options to choose from.

The Puck Table will be launched at designjunction, an exciting collaboration of UK brands exhibiting at the Zegna Headquarters, Via Savona 56, Zona Tortona during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 12-17 April 2011.

Simen Aarseth works as a product designer and interior architect in Oslo. After completion of his master degree in 2010, he has set up his own studio and is collaborating with other designers as well as recognized architects and local makers. Simen’s aim is to incorporate complex ideas into simple and practical solutions which is perfectly highlighted in the Puck Side Table.
