Dinner textiles by dutch designer Marianne Van Ooij that explore the obvious with a blueprint design featuring production details of tableware: plates, glassware and utensils.

Marianne explains about the project that goes under the title How are things made; “These dinner textiles show the design process of tableware. The technical drawing depicted on the textiles shows dimensions, comments and direction for the production of plates, glassware and utensils. When dining, people get a glimpse back in time of how their tableware was designed. In the meantime, the beauty of the technical drawing serves as a nice backdrop for interesting dinner conversation”.
