2012 Collection from We:do:Wood

Danish design studio We:do:Wood have recently launched their 2012 Collection of sustainable wooden furniture.

The pieces are charming and appealing as is the styling of their catalogue shoot by stylist Gitte Kjær.

We:do:Wood is a danish furniture company established in 2006 by the two cabinetmakers and designers Henrik Thygesen and Sebastian Jørgensen.

The studio’s manifest builds on the importance of functionality and sustainability:

“We do Wood is based on the vision that eminent design and strict sustainability principles should go hand in hand.

We do Wood believe that production aesthetics need never stand in the way of application aesthetics.

We do Wood believe that functionality is the key, and that the product must be able to fit smoothly into people’s everyday lives.

We do Wood is furniture created with respect for the environment all the way through.

We do Wood is not just about furniture – it is also about attitudes, changes and common sense.”
