Minuscule Chair by Cecilie Manz for Fritz Hansen

During Milan Furniture Fair last month danish design brand Fritz Hansen launched a new chair by Cecilie Manz.

Called Minuscule the chair is for informal occasions and has – very unlike Fritz Hansen premium furniture back catalogue – a frame made from plastic. Fritz Hansen is usually known for their iconic pieces from Arne Jacobsen & Poul Kjærholm made only from the finest materials such as steel, timber, leather and wool fabrics.

This looks like a new direction for the company and a very exciting one.

Minuscule comes in a range of earthy coloured upholstery fabrics and light grey legs.
