Oo Table Lamp by Sverre Uhnger
Oo is designed by norwegian designer Sverre Uhnger and was launched during Stockholm Furniture Fair 2013.
The lamp is made from solid wood throughout – even the switch is timber.
Sverre was inspired by how 2 spheres in different sizes but cut from the piece of wood, relates to one another, and explains “Imagine the base and the shade as parts of wooden spheres; the part that is cut off from the shade is used as base only with a bigger diameter.”
The name also revives from his fascination of the different size spheres the large O and the small o.
