Norse Chair by Simon Pengelly for Modus
British designer Simon Pengelly was inspired by Scandinavian chair design of the 50’s when he created the Norse Chair for furniture label Modus.
The chair is made from a steam bent wood frame with a laminated veneer seat and back.
Norse is intended as a contemporary take on a traditional Scandinavian seat and is available in a range of colours.
The form language of the Norse Chair seems to be very popular at the moment and among others share characteristics with the In Between Chair by Sami Kallio for &tradition.
