Monsieur Bleu by Joseph Dirand at Palais de Tokyo
French designer Joseph Dirand has designed the interior for new restaurant Monsieur Bleu at the temporary art space Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
Unlike its name the space is made with shades of plush green velvets, beautiful green Connemara marble surrounding all the banquette seating, mirror paneled walls, brass details and lighting as well as floors made in graphic patterns of black and white marble tiles.
The geometric chandeliers are designed by Michel Boyer and add a lightness to the space while referring to some forgotten japonais/french era.
The restaurant also holds an outdoor space which is open May-Sept.
