Blown Lamp by Samuel Wilkinson
Young Bristish designer Samuel Wilkinson has created Blow Lamp for Danish brand &tradition.
As the name suggests, the pendants are mouth blown and are available in opaque or clear glass.
Blown has strong references to the likes of Venini known for his Murano glass works as well as traditional Swiss crystal ware. However Wilkinson’s lamps are finished off by placing the mouth blown glass bubble in a steel mould that creates the final pattern on the surface.
Quite an interesting production method that can also be seen in the movie underneath.
