Material Container Series by Jeonghwa Seo
South Korean designer Jeonghwa Seo has created a series of material experiments with his Material Container Series.
All 15 pieces are shaped as a simple stool with a solid base and a seat in 2 different materials.
Seo wanted to challenge peoples’ perception of everyday materials translated into furniture.
Among the 12 materials used are basalt, copper, aluminium, rosewood, cork, acrylics and cherry wood.
Recently Seo extended the collection to include the Material Container Bench.
