Skin Chairs by Studio 9191
Gigi Barker of Studio 9191 has created a collection of Skin Chairs and Stools that look, feel and even smell like human skin.
Using foam, moulded silicone and leather, British designer Gigi Barker creates pieces of furniture inspired by obese bodies. She even infuses the pieces with pheromones to create the strong recognition and physical relationship between viewer and object.
