Johnny Walker China Bottles by Chris Martin

As part of their design of a new ‘experience space’ in Shanghai for whisky brand Johnnie Walker, creative agency LOVE created a series of commemorative edition bottles for the launch of the Brand House, referencing traditional Chinese porcelain. LOVE hired London-based designer Chris Martin of TOY to make the illustrations and he’s employed a traditional decorative Chinese-style white and blue technique to tell the story of Johnnie Walker whisky’s epic journey from Scotland to China over a hundred years ago. The Johnnie Walker 1910 Commemorative Edition bottle, was a “for sale by invitation only” blend, 1,000 of which will be created for the House.
