Young Danish designer Maria Bruun showed the exciting project Soft Chair during Salone del Mobile 2013. The chair works in the cross field between textile and furniture design and uses no less than 300 meters of upholstered rope!

Maria explains, “The inspiration for the Soft Chair came from an article that described textile as the logic of a soft space and describes how architecture can advantage from morphing with textile”.

The Soft Chair is part of the exhibition MMP (Meet My Project), that through a selection of innovative objects in the world of textiles, furniture and new technologies, explore the

design development through initial concept to the final product.

Maria Bruun graduated last year from The Royal Danish Academy  of Arts, School of Design in Copenhagen and has since been running her design studio Maria Bruun Design.
